Caring for your piece
Natural straw softens beautifully with wear. A little care keeps its shape for years.
Do
- Store on a flat surface or hat stand
- Brush lightly with a soft, dry brush
- Reshape gently with light steam if needed
- Let it dry naturally if caught in rain
Don't
- Leave in direct sunlight for long periods
- Crush or fold the brim
- Machine wash or soak in water
- Store under heavy objects
Our sterling details are solid silver and will patina gently over time — many owners prefer this softer glow.

- Polish occasionally with a silver cloth
- Keep dry and store in the pouch provided
- Send to us for complimentary re-polishing

- Expose to perfume or hairspray
- Use abrasive household cleaners
- Store in humid conditions
The ribbon trim is hand-stitched and easily refreshed.

- Spot-clean with a slightly damp cloth
- Air dry away from direct heat

- Iron directly onto the ribbon
- Saturate with water
- Pull loose threads — trim them carefully
